let's see its been...over a year since I updated! lol There has definitely been changes in my life.  Good ones that is! I am so happy right now.  I've accomplished a few of my long-term goals.  I really feel grown up and responsible. September of 2006 was just about the time where I started to make changes.  I called up one of my good friends who was in the loans and real estate field and asked him for some advice.  He really changed my life.  My sister and I started looking at model homes in the southwest of vegas.  It was so time consuming, especially with our conflicting schedules.  Model home, after model home.  I was getting sick of looking cause I was looking for a specific floor plan and she wanted a game room as well.  It took us 8 mths to finally decide on a home.  I have seriously moved like 5 times! That's alot for me.  There are so many incentives right now with the builders.  If you're looking to buy a home, right now is a great time.  Especially in vegas.  Ooo....brb   

update time.  This time it took me 3 mths, not bad.  I was going through old stuff and found this posterboard that my friend Cristy had made for me for my going away party back in 02'.  That's when my girlfriends and I use to hang out with this frat TDB and went everywhere with them.  So this one time we all went to Santa Barbara for the day to watch the guys play basketball at UCSB.  I would always here about how much UCSB knows how to party and in fact it was TRUE.  That night we walked the streets by the campus and everyone was out.  I was like what tha heck! It was like a block party, but more like 4 or more blocks.  We hit up this party that had a band playing in the backyard.  So after that we kept walking and there were still lots of people walking around the streets.  Soon enough cops came checkin anyone who had alcohol and one of our friends got caught. sux. she got a ticket and later had to drive all the way back to Santa Barbara to go to court. crazy.  I was so tired that night I had my friend drive my car home. good times. 

I'm actually going to Cali next weekend! Can't wait.  I haven't been there since Oct 05.  I can't believe it.  I'm coming down for my friend Cristy's engagement party.  The wedding is next year though.  She's got it all planned out.  Good for her.  Wedding Crashers changed my whole view of weddings.  hehe.  I'm also going to my cousins' wedding the weekend after.  Cali two weeks in a row! yay! With all these weddings it makes me feel like I'm getting old.

i couldn't sleep.  I thought I'd see what's happening in the online world! hehe. I've been working 40+ and haven't had much time away from work.  Lately it's been one day off a week.  Anyways, It was good to here from one of my Carson girls.  I will be in cali July 6th and 7th to take a breather from vegas.  Not sure if I want to stay in OC or Carson.  I hope I get to transfer to one of the stores out there in the near future.  Probably next year.  I was suppose to come back right after I graduated but instead I decided to work full time for a while before I make another major change in my life.  Other news, hmm umm I'm moving again! This time to a house.  Can't wait. We're currently looking and we only have two months left.  We were suppose to look today but got side tracked.  Alex and I picked up my mom at her house and took her to lunch then went to GVR casino and watched nacho libre for the 2nd time (and no my mom didn't watch it, she roamed the casino)  We loved the movie so much we had to watch it again. LOL. If you haven't seen it....YOU NEED TO! After the movies we went to Lake Las Vegas and it was BLAZING HOT! geez. pretty scenery but ridiculous in the summer.  It's my first choice for a wedding venue. Just LOVELY! 

On Tuesday, we went to eat dinner at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris with Mark and Lissy (our couple buddies) for Mark's birthday.  His real birthday is today. We celebrated a little early though.  The mojito I had was awesome.

my buzz died down. it's all good though. i'm so glad school's over and alex and I are just gonna get wasted for the next two weeks. hehe. In other news, my friend Vicki is graduating and I'm so happy for her.  It's actually later today, I hope she likes my gift.

work is good, I'm one of the managers for our new store opening this month.  I'm excited! so many things to do and we only have two weeks to train people. 

This is the first summer that I won't be in school. I feel relieved yet weird that I don't need to go to school anymore.  I'm gonna take a break and think about getting my masters.
